Here is everything you need to know about the 4-year B.Sc in Nursing course at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU):

Who Can Apply?

●      You must be a citizen of Bangladesh.

●      You must pass SSC and HSC exams from the Science group.

●      Your total GPA (SSC + HSC) must be at least 7.00.

●      You must get at least a 3.00 GPA in both SSC and HSC.

●      You must get at least a 3.00 GPA in Biology.

●      You cannot be older than 22 years.

Seats and Quota

●      Up to 15% of the seats are for male students.

●      If there are not enough male students, female students will get these seats based on their marks.

●      5% of the seats are saved for tribal students who have good grades.

About the Admission Test

●      The exam has 100 marks.

●      The time for the exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

●      It is an MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) test.

●      The questions come from the SSC and HSC syllabus.

●      The subjects are Bengali, English, Math, Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry), and General Knowledge.

●      You get 1 mark for every right answer.

●      No marks are cut for wrong answers.

How to Apply

●      You must apply online on the university website (www.bmu.ac.bd).

●      You have to pay the exam fee at the bank first.

●      You need your SSC and HSC roll numbers, passing years, board names, and GPA to fill out the form.

●      You need your Birth Certificate number.

●      You have to upload a clear color photo, your signature, and a picture of the bank receipt.

●    You must write the bank scroll number, serial number, date, and branch name on the form.

●     You can edit information before click the 'Final Submit' button. After click it, you cannot change anything.

●      After completing the application correctly, eligible candidates can download the admit card from the website using their application number and password.

Important Rules After Admission

●      You must pass a health check-up to get admitted.

●      You have to give your original school certificate and marksheet to the university to keep.

●      The university does not give you a hostel or room to stay.

●      After finishing the course, you must work in the university hospital for 6 months as an intern.
