Admissions Requirements for International Applicants

To apply for MD/MS courses, international students must have the following qualifications:

● Degree: You must have an MBBS, BDS, or equivalent degree recognized by the Medical or Dental Council of your country.

● Internship & Experience: You must have completed a 1-year internship after your MBBS or BDS. Also, at least 2 years must have passed since you got your degree.

● Registration: You need a permanent registration certificate from your country's Medical or Dental Council (this must be accepted by BMDC).

● Age: Based on the specific date mentioned in the admission notice, your age must not be more than 45 years.

● Other Courses: If you are already studying another course, you cannot apply. You can apply 1 year after finishing or leaving that course (you must attach the withdrawal letter).

English Language Proficiency

International students must be good at English. You must have one of the following:

● IELTS: An IELTS score of at least 6 in every single part.

● TOEFL: A TOEFL score between 46 and 59.

Application Process & Life at BMU for International Students

● Get the Form: You can get the application form from the university website (www.bmu.ac.bd) or your country's Embassy.

● Apply through the Embassy: International students cannot apply directly. You must submit your application form through your country's Embassy or High Commission in Bangladesh.

● Needed Documents: With the filled form, you must give 2 recent photos, an attested copy of your valid passport, and copies of all your educational papers. All papers must be checked and attested by your country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

● Application Fee: You have to pay an application fee of 200 US Dollars (US$ 200) or an equal amount in the given bank account. You must attach the original bank receipt with your application form.

(Note: A student can apply for only one subject or discipline.)
